Carol Klein has been teaching for over 45 years.  She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, her certification in Early Childhood Education from Towson College and Masters credits in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola College.

Carol has taught sixth grade and special education in Baltimore County.  For twelve years she served as Teacher/Director of the Towson Children's Center, a cooperative nursery school program.  Twenty nine years ago, she purchased the school and changed the name to Dulaney Day School, a school for children 2 years old through Kindergarten, located in the Stoneleigh area.  Carol also owns and operates Camp Dulaney, a summer science and nature camp in Dulaney Valley for young children.

Over the years, in addition to teaching, Carol has conducted Parenting workshops as well as study groups for Directors of Preschool programs.  She sees every child as a :"gift".  Some just take a little longer to open.
